Personally, unless some miracle happens this year, I do believe Massa's days are numbered. Who would replace him? Hard to say, really. No one in the current line-up who might be willing to go and be #2 to Alonso, seems up to the challenge. I have a fondness for Alguersuari - I think given a respectable car, he could be a lot better than he has been able to show. I think he is young, and makes some silly mistakes, but somehow through it all, I see a large untapped talent in that young man.
ok I figured it out - I have to hit the "link" thingy. I'll get this blogging thing one day! :)
ReplyDeleteGood news. Means he’s not going to Ferrari.
ReplyDeleteAll of the other top drivers have contracts that are up at the end of next season (2012) so there will be plenty of movement.
Alonso – end 2012 – option for end 2014.
Massa, Hamilton, Kubica, Button, Glock, Schumacher all end 2012.
End 2011: Alguersuari, Buemi, Barrichello, Kobayashi and Webber.
The plethora of pay drivers go year by year.
