Thank God somebody in the IRL is smart enough to recognize that one of their signature drivers can't be side lined!
(p.s.: I think I figured out how to make this linking thing work )
TK is a madman on the track and a great personality off. He had to have a seat! I hope KV can give him a worthy car.
ReplyDeleteI think KV Racing is the winner here. KVR needed somebody like TK to help build a winning car, as much as TK needed the ride. We may see leaps and bounds of improvements for that team, now that he is with them. Wishing them both a lot of good luck this season.
ReplyDeleteI'm thrilled to see this connection. KV has been looking for a big name to put into one of their cars since the team was formed. It was nice to see PT pick up a ride with the team from time to time but he wasn't a great fit (notwithstanding his friendship with Jimmy) and his results were never anything to write home about. TK will be better. This is cool.
ReplyDeleteIs Kanaan's deal done? He wasn't testing this week...

As far as I know the latest update is from last week, where KV Racing general manager Mark Johnson said “I don’t think it’s any secret we’d love to have Tony and we’ve been working hard to make it a reality but it’s still a work in progress.” Still - I'll bet it happens. I think it's a good fit.
ReplyDeleteIt's a done deal. Cool. Per Racer online today.
ReplyDeleteHaven't figured out how to post an active link yet but here's the link in text:
