C.O.T.A. - Austin Texas
I watched the streaming live video yesterday of the press conference about the new F1 track in Austin - going to be called "The Circuit of the Americas" (COTA). It was really a very impressive press conference and showed some very exciting renderings of the facility, along with some extremely impressive partnerships which certainly provides a high degree of confidence for the success of this project. I was quite impressed with the overall progress. And....adding a 10 year contract with MotoGP won't hurt either! Good one - this should make Tony George bang his head into more brick walls!

I haven't seen the presser yet. Network is too slow at work to view YouTube.

It has the whole teaser there plus more.
I like that it has elevation changes. Should be fun. Maybe I can convince the Resident Pit Babe to take a summer vacation to Austin in 2012.
And once we get there, "Why is the city SO packed? Who comes to Austin in the heat of summer? Did you know F1 was here this week?"
