Maybe it was our nationalistic following DownHere of Mark Webber's progress from 18th to a magnificent podium 3rd that had us on the edge of our seats, but how in the f@&*# could anyone accuse the the China F1 Race as boring?????????????????????
Totally agree with you Knac! That has to be one of the most exciting F1 races I've seen in 25 years! Absolutely amazing run by Webber, and the battles that Rosberg got involved in were just as amazing. Too bad he fell off at the end, because he definitely gave good showing. And...Vettel didn't win - Hamilton won. Not that I'm any great fan of Hamilton, but at least he broke the streak Vettel was on. Very good race - as I said - one of the best I've seen in a very long time.
At the risk of repeating myself it seems Messrs Brundle & Coulthard are the President, Secretary & Commitee of the Mark Webber Admiration Society. They certainly give him a lion's share of their commentary.
I was holding back from coming here to rave about this race. I think I saw the race on DVR Monday night. I had to wait to watch IndyCar, and now ALMS. Anyway...
I was jumping up and down screaming for Webber.
Wow! This was spectacular.
Now all we need is something to randomly change weather conditions during the race.

ReplyDeleteI agree re Webber. Brilliant drive
ReplyDeleteOtherwise a yawn fest as far as I'm concerned. Nothing a real "grabber" !!
Where's the "BIG pass" or some other magnificent manoeuvre ??
I have to agree...it was good for a Grand Prix, yes but you didn't have to be Einstein to work out what was going to happen from about 15-20 laps out.
ReplyDeleteIt seemed to have an air of inevitability to it once you figured out what was happening with the tyres.
sounds like i should have watched F1 this time round..... typical the only race i dont watch is good
ReplyDeletewatch out for a boring round next up cause i am back watching!
